Cold weather uninvited "guests"

As we get into the winter months, the cold weather drives pests indoors. Animals like raccoons, squirrels, rats and mice all like a warm environment like YOUR HOME. Before it gets too cold, make a perimeter check of your house looking for any small hole or crack that can be used as an entry point. Seal any found holes with copper or steel mesh as most rodents can chew through foam or caulk. Call a licensed pest control company to trap and remove any larger animals that found their way in. These animals should be removed and relocated. At Palladin Pest Control we believe in the humane treatment of trapped animals. After all, they are just trying to stay warm. Outside, decks, porches and bay window outcroppings become great places to find skunks, raccoons and possums. If you notice any activity, have the animal trapped and removed. Try to block entry for any other animal that might find a new home useful.
